Owl by design

Owl 1

I recently purchased this Felicity Owl Cushion for Little Miss M’s bedroom from this fab home & interiors site Sass & Belle

And, we’ve both fallen in love with her! It’s the ultimate woodland-inspired, interiors accessory and she looks perfect on my 60s themed grey chair.

The IKEA (fake) sheepskin rug also gives her, and us, some cozy comfort.

There’s a huge range of these cushions to choose from at Sass & Belle as well as lots of other quirky interior bits and bobs.

You can even get make-your-own-owl sewing kits online, like these at John Lewis.

One for the creative play days to come!

Keeping with the owl home-trend, I also got this charming picture from IKEA

It’s still to be hung but will create the perfect backdrop to what’s turning into a wonderful, woodland-chic theme. Twit-twoo!

Any fun home trends you’re loving just now? Do you get creative at home with a sewing machine?

  2. I LOVE the owl theme! I’m currently going crazy on pinterest getting ideas for the girls bedroom. It’s definitely due a makeover, we decorated before they were born and they’re going to be four soon! It’s looking a bit shabby now, especially since they ripped all the lovely wall stickers off!..xxx
